ATM & NIGHT DEPOSIT FACILITY SECURITY TIPS

We want the ATM and night deposit facility to be safe and convenient for you. Please report any suspicious activity or crimes to both the Bank and the local law enforcement officials immediately. Allow the safety precautions below to guide your usage:

  • Don’t lend your Debit card/ATM card to anyone.
  • Do not leave your card at the ATM. Do not leave any documents at a night deposit facility.
  • Prevent others from seeing you enter your PIN by using your body to shield their view.
  • It is appropriate to politely ask someone who is uncomfortably close to you to step back before you complete your transaction.
  • Be aware of your surroundings, especially at night.
  • Don’t accept assistance from anyone you don’t know when using an ATM or night deposit facility.
  • Consider having someone accompany you when the ATM is used after dark.
  • Refrain from displaying your cash. Pocket it as soon as your transaction is completed.Count the cash later in the safety of your car or home.
  • Consider using another ATM or coming back later if you notice anything suspicious.
  • Go to the nearest public area where people are located if you are followed after making a transaction.
